A Message from State Senator Len Suzio

Our Gas Tax Rally is ON for Wednesday!

Help Us Fight for Permanent Relief at the Pumps!

I am inviting you and your friends and families to come to Hartford to demand PERMANENT relief at the gas pumps.

Our rally will be held THIS WEDNESDAY at 11 a.m. in Room 1 E of the Legislative Office Building, 300 Capitol Ave., Hartford.  Free parking is available.

Yesterday, Democrats gave us a small victory when they proposed temporary tax relief at the pumps.

 Know this, Taxpayers:

That proposal was the result of all the pressure all of YOU put on them!

But with their plan, gas prices would jump again next year.

They will continue to tax gouge you.

That’s NOT real tax relief!

Tomorrow, we will ratchet up the pressure for PERMANENT tax relief!

Consider this:

On a $60 fill-up, you are paying more than $7 in state gas taxes!

Also consider this: The highest tax increase in state history was foisted on us last year.

Join us on Wednesday, March 21 to say enough is enough.

Join us on Wednesday to say you are sick and tired of the state reaping a windfall from gouging you with excessive gas taxes.

Join us to demand that your state legislators and the governor listen to what taxpayers are saying.

Join us to speak your minds and to demand a public hearing for my bill – Senate Bill 5 – which will bring about permanent relief at the pumps.

 Taxpayers:  This is your opportunity.

On Wednesday at 11 a.m, we take our fight straight to the State Capitol.

It has been an honor to fight this fight on your behalf.  And I will NOT stop fighting for tax relief at the pumps.

So spread the word and I’ll hope to see you on Wednesday!

Feel free to contact me about the state’s hidden gas tax or any other issue at Len.Suzio@cga.ct.gov or 800-842-1421
